Aesthetics in Perforation and Fabrication at Burchfield Penney Art Center 

Rigidized® Metals collaborated with the UB School Architecture and Planning to create the three light and projector totems beside the Burchfield Penney Art Center on Elmwood Avenue in Buffalo, NY. Perforated stainless steel rolled with our 5WL® pattern depicts scenes from several Charles Burchfield paintings.

Rigidized® Metals Corporation Provides Acoustical Panels for (716) Food and Sport 

Rigidized® Metals Corporation provided the fully fabricated acoustical ceiling panels over Bars B and C, the hostess station and the stairwell. These panels are composed of 304 stainless steel in 2B finish, 20 gauge, perforated and rolled with Rigidized® Metals’ pattern 1RL, with a 1" square aluminum frame. Additionally, Rigidized® Metals Corporation provided 304 stainless steel, 20 gauge Sandtex® rolled with Rigidized® Metals’ pattern 5HR for all three bar fronts and the back of the bottle shelf behind the main bar. Lastly, Rigidized® Metals provided the 316 stainless steel, bronze colored, rolled in Rigidized® Metals' pattern 6SL, for the front exterior entrance way panels.

Rigidized® Metals Corporation Adds Aesthetic Appeal to Cedar Rapids, IA Federal Courthouse 

Located in Northern Iowa, the Cedar Rapids Federal Courthouse needed a weather-resistant, more aesthetically appealing facade. The goal for this project was to provide a wide range of shading with bronze colored stainless steel to give a more positive appearance.

Rigidized® Metals Corporation provided the 14-gauge, bronze-colored 304 stainless steel rolled with Rigidized® Metals’ pattern 6WL®, chosen for its enhanced aesthetics due to light diffusion.

Colored stainless steel holds up to external elements much better than colored anodized aluminum. LIC coloring method was used to provide the various shades being sought after.
