BUILDING EXTERIORS
Architects specify Rigidized® deep textured metals for building exteriors for two primary reasons. Rigidized® patterns produce an optical flatness that eliminates oil-canning, the unwanted "wavy" appearance that is a result of expansion and contraction and fabricating methods. Also, as a contributing material to “green” building, Rigidized® stainless steel is made from recycled materials. Since Rigidized® is stronger than ordinary metals, thinner gauges are used thereby using less material to achieve adequate strength in panels.
